These Terms define the rules, responsibilities, limitations, and intellectual property protections that apply when users access or use ScoliBase.

Acceptance and Eligibility

By using ScoliBase, you agree to these Terms. You must be authorized to create or use the account you access, whether for yourself or as an authorized guardian.

Account Responsibilities

Users must provide accurate information, maintain credential confidentiality, avoid sharing access with unauthorized users, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

Platform Usage Rules

You may not misuse or disrupt the platform, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or reverse engineer the service beyond what law permits, or upload unlawful or infringing material.

Beta Services

ScoliBase is being released in a phased beta rollout. Features may change, be unavailable, or require manual review. Temporary downtime and service limitations may occur during the beta period.

Healthcare Disclaimer

ScoliBase is not for emergency communication and does not provide guaranteed emergency monitoring. Licensed providers remain responsible for their independent clinical judgment and care decisions.

Intellectual Property

ScoliBase, ScoliSnap, and ScoliWorks, along with associated logos, UI/UX, workflow content, educational content, images, videos, and software code, are protected by applicable intellectual property rights.

Users retain ownership of their uploads but grant ScoliBase the rights reasonably necessary to host, process, secure, display, and operate the platform.

Suspension and Termination

ScoliBase may suspend or terminate access for security reasons, misuse, policy violations, operational necessity, or legal compliance.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScoliBase disclaims liability arising from beta instability, downtime, interruptions, or third-party service limitations.

Governing Law and Updates

These Terms are governed by applicable state law and may be updated from time to time. Continued use after an updated effective date may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
